Clara Leitão (Lisbon, 1995) completed her BA (Hons) in Design for Textiles at Heriot-Watt University, Scotland and also studied in India, at the National Institute of Design.

She works with a variety of materials and techniques such as drawing, painting, screenprinting (on paper and fabric) and embroidery. Her work is connected to the world of dreams and the subconscious, which she accesses through intuition, stories and memories. Attention to detail and free use of colour are key in her work, which peers into what lives beyond the visible.
Clara currently lives and works in Lisbon.

Clara Leitão (Lisboa, 1995) completou a licenciatura em Design Têxtil na Heriot-Watt University, Escócia e estudou também na Índia, no National Institute of Design.

Trabalha com vários materiais e técnicas tais como o desenho, a pintura, a serigrafia (em papel e tecido) e o bordado. O seu trabalho está ligado ao mundo dos sonhos e do subconsciente, ao qual acede através da intuição, de histórias e memórias. A atenção ao detalhe e o uso livre da cor são característicos do seu trabalho, que abre uma janela para o que existe além do visível.

Atualmente vive e trabalha em Lisboa.
